Dustin Yellin (b.1975, American) is an artist based in Brooklyn, NY. Yellin's work draws attention to the interconnectivity of all beings and things. His work challenges traditional boundaries between human, non-human, organic, and inorganic realms, revealing the underlying networks that bind them —whether visible or obscured. In particular, Yellin's glass works embed paint and clipped images from various print media within laminated glass sheets, forming grand pictographic allegories. These works invite viewers to reflect on the depths of their own consciousness and emotions, as well as the collective psyche and its underlying infrastructures. Yellin is also the Founder and Director of Pioneer Works, the Brooklyn-based multidisciplinary cultural center that builds community through the arts and sciences.
